Babysitting Co-Op
This Co-Op helps mothers exchange babysitting time. It's great when you need to do errands, go to a doctor's appointment, have a date night with your significant other, or when you are doing home improvements. New members can join the babysitting co-op after paying their club dues and attending a Babysitting Co-op meeting. The wonderful part is that no money is needed, just time. Each time a person babysits, that time is banked until they need someone to babysit for them.

In-A-Pinch
Sometimes life can get hectic and you may find yourself in a pinch. In these situations, it might be necessary to ask someone for a helping hand. This is why the Emergency/In-A-Pinch list exists. Group members volunteer to assist any club members who need assistance due to family illness, an emergency, a new baby, etc. Help may include dinners, shopping, or errands. Moms with a brand new baby can relax for a few nights while club moms bring over dinner for the family. Don't be afraid to ask for help. That's what this club is all about, to offer support to one another.

Community Outreach
Our members enjoy donating time and energy to others in our area. Throughout the year we may organize a community "Pre-school Information Night", a book drive, or collect clothing donations for families in need. We make monetary donations to worthy organizations like St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, SSF Summer Reading Program & SSF CPO, just to name a few. We also enjoy events the whole family can get involved with: "Ocean Beach Clean-up", Toys for Tots Drive, visiting a senior center, etc. Whatever the cause, we try to do our part in making a difference in helping our community. Each year we try to choose events and organizations that our members are interested in.

Fund raising
Fund raisers play an important part in supporting our club's activities. All monies raised go directly towards the club's expenses: compensate community speakers/events; cover monthly newsletter expenses and Community Outreach Programs; help fund our family parties, kid's activities and some of our mothers' outings. We do raffles, sell Entertainment Books, have fund raising dinners, as well as various other fund raisers that may differ from year to year.
